| Where I live there are plenty of opportunities to see old (i.e. picturesque) craft of many types and nationalities (we are only a few hours from France, Belgium and Holland). My paintings tend to be either quick sketches (when the boats are sailing) or very detailed studies of rigging (when they're moored in Ramsgate Harbour). |
