Kate (Catherine Victoria) is an occasional
artist and erstwhile cellist. She was born in 1971 (I think), weighing
more than necessary and the wrong way round. Her interests include
sport (almost any kind so long as it's played by strapping bronzed men).
As a child she was (in my opinion) the best footballer in her school.
Australian schools don't as a rule play what the British called football
(we called it soccer), and when they do the girls aren't allowed to play.
But Kate insisted, and it turned out that the reason girls can't play is
they keep scoring goals. She is a graduate of Reading University,
and goes in for writing plays and TV/film scripts under the name Kate Jenian.
In between this she is constantly jet-setting around the world (America
and Australia mainly), on her way to yet another wheelchair marathon (she
was third female wheeler in her first LA marathon). She is madly interested
in children but at last count had not produced any of her own. As yet Kate
has no presence on the net other than a constantly changing e-mail
address and some plans. Watch this space.

Kate (top blob) on the
start-line of her first (L.A.)
Wheelchair marathon.
I missed her first London
Marathon on the telly
because she said she's wear a
silver helmet, but the race
organisers made her wear
pink (for girls!).
